Job ScopeServes as the Corporate Specialty Leasing Manager for Specialty Leasing efforts throughout the portfolio. The Specialty Leasing Manager will direct the Specialty Leasing program efforts throughout the portfolio to achieve Specialty Leasing income, alternative revenues, and occupancy goals. Primary responsibilities include the ongoing licensing of the common area RMUs, Temporary Kiosks, Temporary Inline Stores, and Alternative Revenues. Other accountabilities include budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. Must demonstrate the ability to juggle responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Principal Accountabilities
ï?¶Identify new and unique prospects for the Specialty Leasing program and/or permanent leasing. ï?¶Coordinate all national deals with the SVP and Property Management Team. ï?¶Generate all license agreements in accordance to company standards and coordinate execution. ï?¶Ensure each licensee has provided the appropriate Certificate of Insurance. ï?¶Coordinate the set-up, relocation, and breakdown of all specialty leasing licensees. ï?¶Ensure rent is collected from all licensees adhering to the Specialty Leasing A/R Procedures. ï?¶Generate alternative income through Alternative Revenue opportunities. ï?¶Work in conjunction with Marketing Directors at centers to secure additional revenue via center events and advertising. ï?¶Collect monthly sales from licensees and generate a sales report to ensure all percentage rent and percentage in lieu is billed appropriately. ï?¶Monitor, control, and adjust Specialty Leasing budgets and alternative revenue goals to meet year-end projections. ï?¶Ensure Specialty Leasing retailers and amenities enhance the appearance and values of the shopping center and meet New England Developments visual merchandising standards of professionalism. ï?¶Maintain ongoing communication with permanent leasing agent to determine space availability, merchandise mix goals, and incubation candidates. ï?¶Key component of the position will be prospecting the Boston Markets on a weekly basis to identify new trends, concepts, and tenants for the portfolio. ï?¶Position requires periodic travel to properties outside the Boston Market.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ï?¶Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution. Degree in business, accounting, or marketing preferred. ï?¶Minimum of 3 years of related leasing experience and / or retail experience preferred ï?¶Experience in managing budgets ï?¶Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Selling and negotiation skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with other ï?¶Microsoft Office
