Strategic Facilities Capital Planning Manager is responsible for strategic capital facilities planning and space management of Alameda County's administrative, operations and program facilities, encompassing over 150 owned and leased facilities of over 6.3 million sq. ft. This position conducts a comprehensive and holistic review of facilities, spacing, and capital improvements and investments to ensure projects are feasible and support the County’s mission.
Minimum Qualifications: Five (5) years of full-time experience in strategic capital facilities planning and space management of buildings including program and financial analysis, policy and process development, and management of strategic plans. The above required experience must include two (2) years of supervisory experience. Possession of the equivalent of a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, construction management, business or public administration, or in a closely related field is required.
